A change, or no change, in shares outstanding between two samples. It answers whether the vault moved and nothing else: several deposits and withdrawals inside one gap look like one net movement, and nobody’s address is attached. Used where the chain serves no deposit log.

A floor, in both directions. A vault still for its whole window may have been still far longer, and one that moved yesterday may have been still for a year before that. What is not a floor is the split between the two shaded rows and the two grey ones: the first pair are statements about vaults, the second about how far our reading reaches.
