One person reads these. Pick whichever is closer to what you have — it only changes what you should expect back, not where it goes.
Two things account for most surprises and both are documented rather than accidental. Every return here is what a holder earned, with deposits removed, so it will not match a vault’s account-value growth. And anything held on a centralised exchange is invisible to us, so concentration and crowding are floors rather than ceilings. The methodology page defines every figure on the site.
A correction is the most useful thing anyone sends. If we published something wrong we say so on the page rather than quietly changing it. What to expect back is written down, including the parts we cannot promise.
