Everything else here counts what exists. This counts what has gone quiet. Nothing on this page says dead: a rail can resume and an agent can return, so silence is reported against each rail’s own history and the conclusion is left to you.
There is no fixed threshold for silence. This page used one and was wrong: it called ACP settlements stopped after two days, and that rail had already gone 12 days with nothing on it and come back. Quiet is measured against the longest gap each rail has already survived.
| rail | last event | 4 Sept to 4 Oct | 5 Aug to 4 Sept | change | reading |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| x402 payments | today | 9,012,305 | 3,425,592 | withheld | our own reading has 20 gap days here, so no change is claimed |
| Olas tasks | today | 174,024 | 411,849 | withheld | our own reading has 1 gap day here, so no change is claimed |
| ACP jobs | 1 day ago | 6,761 | 6,598 | +2% | quiet for 1 days, longer than it has ever gone before |
| ACP settlements | 5 days ago | 5,533 | 1,908 | +190% | quiet 5 days; it has gone 12 before and come back |
Two totals cannot tell a market that halved from a reader that missed a week and caught up afterwards. The shape can, which is why it is here and not only in the table above. Counts of events, never of dollars: the rails emit different numbers of events for one piece of work.
