What we can and cannot show about autonomy

2,343 vaults are run by software, on evidence that differs from vault to vault. For some the fill log shows decisions arriving on a machine’s clock; for most it is the venue’s own declaration or the vault’s name. The count is broken out by grade, because one number described by its strongest evidence is a claim about vaults that do not carry it. Whether that software is a trading script or a language model is a claim, not a measurement, and none has been declared.Note 3
