The registry lets an agent name the other registries it is in, and 2,687 addresses hold identities on more than one chain while 15 of them ever say so. Of the claims that name an identity elsewhere and can be checked, 1% name an agent id that is not there.
How this is counted
A claim is checked by the identity it names. ERC-8004 ties an identity to a registry and an agent id, not to the owner’s address, so a claim naming both is checked exactly: that id exists in that registry. Whether the same address holds it is shown beside the verdict and is not the verdict, since ownership can change or legitimately differ. A claim naming a registry and no id cannot be checked exactly; the owner comparison Who is behind them uses is reported for it as its own state, never counted as found.
An identity that exists is not an identity that is yours. Of the 219 claims whose named id exists, 52 are held by the address making the claim. The rest name a real identity held by somebody else: ownership may have moved, one party may run several addresses, or a card may cite an identity that is not its own, and nothing here tells those apart.
Absent and unread are never merged. A registry we sweep over its whole life can support “the owner is not in it”. A registry we do not read cannot support anything, and counting it as a false claim would publish our own coverage gap as somebody else’s dishonesty. 18 of these claims are in that state, most of them naming a testnet.
The population is small and that is the finding. Out of 204,760 readable card, only 5,179 fill this field in at all.
